Kei Tsuruharatani is a native of Osaka, Japan. His Broadway credits are The King and I, Miss Saigon, and he has performed at the Metropolitan Opera for six seasons. Along with freelancing as a dance artist, he teaches mindfulness meditation for the people in the industry. Kei performed at A.R.T. in the Alanis Morissette musical Jagged Little Pill, directed by Diane Paulus. His performance in this show marked his first collaboration with choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui.
