Matys Kaïbo is a dancer, pianist, and composer from the north of France. From an early age, he trained in breakdance and hip-hop. This passion quickly led him to take part in numerous events, including the Battle of the Year, and sparked his desire to pursue a career on stage.

At the age of 17, he moved to Paris to join the Académie Internationale de la Danse, where he trained for three years. There, he met several choreographers, including Manuel Vignoulle, who introduced him to contemporary dance.

In 2021, Matys Kaïbo joined the musical Starmania. It was there that he first met Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, with whom he went on to collaborate on several projects, including the music video You Don’t Own Me by Tamino, as well as The Loubi Show IV, the Christian Louboutin show presented during Paris Fashion Week 2023.

After two and a half years touring with Starmania, Matys Kaïbo decided to fully dedicate himself to his musical career. He then began writing and composing his first piano album, entirely original, set for release in spring 2027.
