Liu Kedong is a nationally renowned scenographer in China. He is member of the Chinese Dramatists’ Association, council-member of the China National Scenographic Studies Institute and member of the International Organization of Scenographers (OISTAT).

He participated in numerous international arts festivals in Hongkong, London, Shanghai, Edinburgh,… His works were awarded five times by the National Best Stage Art Project Award, he was selected six times and awarded at the China Arts Festival, his work was selected in five categories of the Five number One Award, and won three of them: the Wenhua Award for stage art, the Golden Lion for drama and the Stage Art Award.
