The World Premiere of "生长genesis" (written with chinese signs), the new production by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui / Eastman, takes place at the National Centre for Performing Arts in Beijing on November 14, 2013.

For 生长genesis, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui collaborated with dancer and choreographer Yabin Wang and her dancecompany 'Yabin & Her Friends'. 

Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui made the performance entirely in China: the auditions, costumes and set, rehearsals until the world première. The performance will be presented in the world cities Guangzhou and Shanghai before it's European Premiere at deSingel (Anvers) on January 10, 2014.
