Nelson Parrish Earl
Nelson Parrish Earl is an Australian born dancer, choreographer and movement-coach. His professional experience began at Sydney Dance Company from 2015 to 2018, performing works by Alexander Ekman, Rafael Bonachela and Antony Hamilton, among others. He was nominated twice as national best dancer for the Sir Robert Helpmann Awards. He then worked with DV8 Physical Theatre on the revival of Lloyd Newson's Enter Achilles. Following, Nelson was commissioned to create a solo for The Sydney Opera House Unwrapped season. In 2021, Nelson was invited as Nicole Kidman's personal movement coach for the film Being the Ricardos. He joined Dancenorth for two seasons, where he performed Red and Wayfinder as well as choreographing two works for the Tomorrow Maker’s Program. Nelson joined Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, first appearing as a guest dancer in Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui's Satyagraha. Since 2023, he has been part of the company and performed in Sharon Eyal’s Half Life, Alain Platel’s Ombra and Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s Rain. Nelson is currently working with Eastman and Peeping Tom for upcoming works.
