Born in Lyon in 1984, Mabrouk Gouicem began dancing at a very young age. At fifteen, his encounter with the French hip-hop movement led him into the world of dance. In 1999, he co-founded Pockemon Crew, which became World Champion in breakdance in 2003. At the same time, he developed a strong desire to explore and challenge himself through other choreographic languages. He performed at the festival Suresnes Cités Danse in Paris in 2001, and one year later, he joined the company Accrorap, directed by Kader Attou. He also danced with Trafic de Styles, directed by Sébastien Lefrançois. From 2005 to 2006, he performed in The Seven Deadly Sins, choreographed by Marie Chouinard at the National Opera of Lyon. In 2007, he danced with Compagnie Käfig in the production Tricôté, choreographed by Mourad Merzouki. From 2008 to 2014, he performed in several productions of the National Choreographic Center of La Rochelle, including Symfonia Pieśni Żałosnych and The Roots. He joined Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui for the project Nomad at Tanec Praha 2017. From 2017 to 2023, he was also part of #Hashtag 2.0 with Pockemon Crew. Since 2019, he has been performing with the company Flowcus.
