Zoe Hollinshead
Zoe Hollinshead is a native of Atlanta, GA, USA, where she fostered a love for dance and performance from a young age. She graduated from The Juilliard School in New York with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance in 2019 under the direction of Alicia Graf Mack. Immediately upon graduating she joined the world renowned Opera Ballet Vlaanderen under the direction of Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. During her time in Belgium she had the opportunity to perform works by choreographers such as Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Akram Khan, Pina Bausch, Crystal Pite, William Forsythe, Jermaine Maurice Spivey, Anna Teresa De Keersmaker, among others. She was also able to foster a relationship with Antwerp freelance creatives, and minority led organizations such as Black Lives Matter Belgium, INCONNU, and The Cope. Zoe was a part of the HIVE Creative Company out of California, USA where she took part in multiple residences culminating in both live performances and two dance films. Seek, the product of the second residency went on to win multiple awards. In August of 2023 she relocated to Geneva, Switzerland to join Le Grand Théâtre de Genève under the direction of Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, where she had the pleasure to continue to grow and share her love for the craft in a new environment in addition to touring extensively throughout Europe. Simultaneously she continued her work with Larbi, performing for Louboutin during Paris Fashion Week, performing with the Eastman Dance Company, and performing works at the GTG by choreographers such as Damien Jalet, Azsure Barton, and Rachid Ouramdane. As of June 2025 Zoe is a freelance artist based in Brussels, BE. She is extremely inspired by her peers and is constantly striving for opportunities to explore her voice in collaboration and alignment with the next generation of leading artists.
