Australian dancer and performer Mason Kelly trained at the New Zealand School of Dance, majoring in contemporary dance. From 2015 to 2020, he worked with Dancenorth Australia, performing and touring extensively both nationally and internationally in award-winning works by Kyle Page & Amber Haines, Lucy Guerin & Gideon Obarzanek, as well as pieces by Alisdair Macindoe, Ross McCormack, Stephanie Lake, Lee Serle, and Kristina Chan.

He has also performed with other leading Australian companies, including Chunky Move and Australian Dance Theatre, in works by their respective artistic directors: Antony Hamilton (Chunky Move) and Garry Stewart (ADT), among others.

Independently, he has performed in Collision — a collaboration between Tasdance and GUTS Dance choreographed by Jo Lloyd — JAGAD by Monica Lim, Melanie Lane, and Rianto, as well as works by Luigi Vescio, Joel Bray, Lewis Major, Cass Mortimer Eipper, and Charmene Yap.

From 2023 to 2025, he was a member of Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève under the direction of Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, performing and touring works by Cherkaoui, Damien Jalet, Sharon Eyal, Aszure Barton, and Rachid Ouramdane.

Most recently, he performed in Thrice, by Damien Jalet with Norwegian company Nagelhus Schia Productions.
