Paea is a dancer, writer & choreographer. She trained in Perth, Australia, gaining her Bachelor of Arts in Dance and then Honours degree (1999 and 2001). She has worked extensively throughout Australia in both dance and theatre as an independent artist and with companies Chunky Move (Melbourne), Australian Dance Theatre (Adelaide), PVC (Germany). She has made a number of works and continues to cultivate connections with colleagues across the globe that embrace writing, improvisation and absent communicating. Paea loves to teach and has done so extensively at the arts university in Perth (WAAPA) as well as Melbourne, Adelaide, Berlin and Finland.

She collaborated with Sidi Larbi Chekaoui on Babel(words).
