Ulrika Kinn Svensson was born in Sweden in 1980. She graduated from upper secondary Art school with dance as major in Falkenberg (Sweden). She then continued to study Jazz and Contemporary dance at Fontys Dance Academy in Tilburg (Holland). As an actress and dancer she performed and toured extensively in several pieces with companies such as Liquid loft (Austria) and TRASH (Holland). Babel^(words) is the third piece she takes part in under the direction of Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui (this time co-directing with Damien Jalet) after performing in both Foi and Myth. In 2009 she created the duet Sometimes it's there together with Koen De Preter.
