Christina Guieb

Born in Wellington, Christina Guieb began her dancing journey at the age of four, training in ballet and jazz. She then studied contemporary dance at the New Zealand School of Dance, where she graduated in 2017. 

In 2018, she began freelancing between New Zealand and Australia, performing with House of Sand (Fear of Eggs), New Zealand Dance Company (Stephanie Lake’s If Ever Was Now and Ross McCormack’s Matter and Artefact), Ross McCormack/Muscle Mouth (As It Stands), Daniel Belton/Good Company Arts (Ad Parnassum and PEPE) and Chunky Move (Token Armies).

Christina started to work in Europe from 2019, performing in Damien Jalet’s works such as the music short film Anima (Thom Yorke/Paul Thomas Anderson), Fallen Man (Jun Takahashi/UNDERCOVER 2020-2021 Autumn/Winter Collection fashion show) and DuEls with Nagelhus Schia Productions and Iceland Dance Company, where she performed in Volk, Les Médusés and Venus In Furs. In 2021, she performed in Planet [wanderer], by Damien Jalet/Nawa Kohei and produced by Chaillot - Théâtre National de la Danse.

In 2022, Christina performed her first work with Eastman, in the second cast of 3S.
