Nassim Baddag

Nassim Baddag was born in Saint-Maurice, France. In dance he found a “discipline” in every sense of the word. At the age of 9 he started with breakdance, which he discovered while watching street performances in Paris. His curiosity prompted him to learn more about contemporary dance, which would quickly seduce him. He continued training in a self-taught way, mainly by working with many different dancers. He is inspired by the aestheticism of body shapes which are broken by animalistic movements. After his first creation le flé0, he founded the company Azenzar with which he choreographed Koudeta. Nassim has worked with several choreographers such as Eun Me Ahn (1'59 Project - Théâtre de la Ville, Paris) and joined Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui in 2021 for the tour of Nomad.

But also the street is Nassim Baddag’s stage. Together with his dance partner Arnaud Deprez, you can find him on the square of the Sacré-Coeur in Paris, where together they founded the Montmartre Breaking Club.
