Wang Qing graduated from the Contemporary Dance Choreography Department of Beijing Dance Academy. She won the Bronze Prize of the 5th CCTV Dance Contest in contemporary dance, the Gold Prize of the 1st Campus Dance Contest in the 6th Lotus Cup Dance Contest in choreography, and the first prize of the 4th North China Five-Province Dance Contest in choreography and performance. She participated in Guangzhou Contemporary Dance Week and Beijing Contemporary Dance Week while in college. Her major works are: No Way to Confront, Mama Don’t Cry, Dance in Heaven, Travel of time, Style and 24 Divisions of the Solar Year – Spirit of Flowers. With Eastman / Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, she danced in 生长genesis (2013) Nomad and Alceste (both 2019).
